on Friday, my feature about ‘A Wrinkle in Time’ aired on Channel One!!! If you follow me on anything social, I can’t stop posting about it… but this is the last thing, I promise. 🙂
If you can believe it, I’ve been bugging my friends at Disney to make this happen for about a year (and yes, we got that interview with Oprah!!! Not to mention the rest of this talented cast)!
What I didn’t expect was that our interviews with the students reading ‘A Wrinkle in Time’ would be the heart of this piece.
I can’t fully describe in a blog post how amazing it was to witness the impact that one single story can have; transcending generations of experience, breaking down longstanding cultural barriers, and above all, remaining a constant, radiant source of inspiration for young people.
As someone who read and loved the Madeleine L’Engle series growing up, it has been the greatest gift to bring this story to our audience. I am so happy and grateful to have done it.
